VINTAGE – circa 1939 – Live Baby Rabbit In Box – Novelty Joke Box

Description

You are bidding on a 1939 release from the Adams Company of Ashbury Park NJ called “This box contains a live Baby Rabbit”.
When opening the box, you are presented with a small group of “rabbit droppings”(fake) and a sign inside the box that says “Well he WAS here, but he got away”.
The picture of the rabbit on the outside of the box is SO cute!
The box is pretty good condition for being 80 years old.. some wear around the outside edges and corners of the box, but it is intact and complete..some of the “droppings” are glued to the inside bottom of the box, while a few of the lighter ones are loose and moving around.
Don’t see too many of these anymore.. it’s a unique novelty gift, might even make a nice stickcing stuffer.
The box itself is 4.5″ long, 2.5″ wide and about 2″ high. Green in color.
